These are the Original stainless steel manifolds that were developed by Allen Will in Queensland Australia and sold under the brand Hi-Tek Marine.
The original OEM cast iron manifolds were utilized to make an exact Jig for the production of the new stainless manifolds for each application. There are many variations for each application and therefore each set is "semi-custom" to the customers application and particular boat requirements. When ordering a set you will be asked about things such as brackets attached to your current manifolds, height of the current set you are replacing, outlet size, if the engine is a stern drive or a V-Drive, as well as other questions pertinent to your particular application.
Over many years of improvements in the design, slight design changes were made to improve the quality as well as the fit and finish of these manifolds. Following from these improvements in the design the warranty has been increased from 5 years to 10 years as well (providing the end customer maintains the manifolds in the proper manner of course).
The founder of Hi-Tek Marine, Allen, is still involved in the marine industry but now spends more time with his family as well as enjoying the wonderful marine environment in Australia in a more relaxed capacity. Allen is now relying on Marine Torque of Australia in conjunction with American Hi-Tek to continue the legacy of his "Hi-Tek Manifolds". American Hi-Tek Inc. is the primary as well as the oldest partner that origionally collaborated with Allen on these manifolds. American Hi-Tek Inc. is located in the Phoenix area of Arizona and we look forward to serving your marine manifold needs for many years in the future.
